Burger Valuation Consultants, Inc. offers Rent Comparability Studies to lenders, owners, or developers of affordable housing properties. The Rent Comparability Study (RCS) is designed to meet HUD requirements within the Section 8 Renewal Policy Guidebook for establishing potential market rents, either at commencement, renewal, or mark-to-market phase of a Section 8 contract. The RCS incorporates HUD’s required rent adjustment grids (Form 92273-S8) and includes market analysis detail that is commonly found in an appraisal report. The RCS provides the client with the necessary support when applying for an adjustment to the contract Section 8 rents.
